Dr. Val Ludlow

Dr. Ludlow grew up in Salt Lake City. After majoring in chemistry at the University of Utah®, he went to dental school at the University of Southern California. After graduating, he returned to Holladay to establish his private practice.

Dr. Ludlow is dedicated to continuing his dental education so he can stay up to date with the most modern and advanced dental procedures and technology. Every year, Dr. Ludlow completes several hours of continuing education with a focus on coursework provided by UCLA, Spear® Education and the prestigious Las Vegas Institute Global (LVI). Dr. Ludlow’s dental practice is focused on creating harmonious, aesthetic smiles that provide long-term oral health.

In his spare time, Dr. Ludlow enjoys cycling, and he has completed an annual 200-mile bike ride for over 15 years. He is also a Level II certified ski instructor.

Deb - Office Manager

Deb worked for 40 years in the legal field before working in the dental field. She loves the patients as well as helping to provide a safe, clean dental office where people feel cared for. Deb works hard, smiles and enjoys each day, for she considers each patient her friend. She loves working for a wonderful dentist who is caring, thoughtful and a perfectionist in all of his work. You always know you are in good hands with Dr. Val Ludlow and his amazing team!

Deb has a wonderful husband of over 40 years, four married children and 13 grandchildren. She enjoys all water sports, and she loves quilting, socializing with friends and enjoying time with her family.

Caitlin - Front Office

Caitlin’s favorite thing about the practice is helping all of our patients get the care they need. She also enjoys helping with the scheduling and greeting everyone who comes in with a smile!

Abigail - Dental Assistant

Abigail loves how fun and energetic the staff is, how beautiful the office is and how everyone works as a team. She loves meeting amazing people and making sure everyone is happy and comfortable. Abigail likes playing golf, playing the piano and hanging with friends.

Stacey - Dental Assistant

Meet Stacey, a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for patient care and creating a positive atmosphere in the dental office. With a friendly personality and upbeat nature, she strives to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease during their dental procedures. Stacey contributes to the success of the practice by being an excellent communicator and ensuring that patients have a pleasant experience from start to finish.

Born as the youngest of six siblings, Stacey grew up moving around to different states and has close family ties in Utah. Despite the distance from her brothers who are scattered across various locations and countries, she remains connected to them. In her free time, Stacey indulges in her hobbies of cooking, baking, and spending quality time with her beloved dog named Banjo. She also channels her creativity through sewing projects, currently working on making custom dog bandanas.

Passionate about animals, Stacey initially pursued a career as a veterinary technician for ten years before discovering a newfound passion in the dental field. This background contributes to her exceptional empathy and understanding when it comes to patient care. With her love for both dentistry and animals, Stacey is committed to making a difference in the lives of both her patients and furry friends.

Addy – Dental Assistant

Meet Addy, a passionate dental assistant with big dreams. Currently, Addy is diligently preparing for the next chapter in her dental career – attending dental hygiene school in fall 2024. With an unwavering commitment to patient care, Addy finds great joy in being part of a dental practice where she can make a difference. What sets her apart is her ability to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients, ensuring their experience is positive from start to finish. By keeping the practice clean and maintaining a positive atmosphere, Addy contributes significantly to the overall success of the team.

Although Addy has lived in Utah her entire life, she recently made the bold decision to move to Salt Lake City to pursue her career aspirations. When she’s not donning her dental scrubs, you can find her indulging in various hobbies. An avid fitness enthusiast, she loves staying active and hitting the gym for her daily workouts. Additionally, she enjoys challenging herself on the golf course and exploring the latest fashion trends while shopping. Her vibrant personality and dedication to helping patients feel at ease make her an invaluable asset to any dental practice.

Katy - Registered Dental Hygienist

Katy is a native of Utah and grew up in Millcreek. She loves serving the people of this community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Weber State University and the Utah College of Dental Hygiene before graduating with honors in 2020. Her favorite part of her job at Holladay Dental Excellence is working with a dedicated and experienced team to provide state-of-the-art, relationship-based care to patients and to help them attain the oral health and smile of their dreams. She believes that a confident smile can change a life. Katy is energetic, positive and passionate about patient education and preventive care. Her unique ability to connect with patients and alleviate their fears reinforces home care, patient education, better nutrition and increased dental health. Katy will have you flossing daily in no time.

When she is not with patients, Katy enjoys hiking, water and snow skiing, traveling, and playing with her giant fluffy fur baby, Zoey the Sheepadoodle.

Nicole – Registered Dental Hygienist

Nicole graduated from Fortis College in 2021 before joining the practice. She loves the friendships that she makes with patients and helping every member of the team get our work done. Nicole was married to her husband, Davis, in January 2020, and they got their puppy, Tui, for their second anniversary. She loves watching and playing sports, and she is excited to be part of the Holladay Dental Excellence team!
